We are seeking an honest, detail oriented individual responsible for processing invoices and payments, organizing and maintaining vendor files and records and performing general ledger account analysis and reconciliations. Working closely with the Senior Director of Finance and CFO/COO, we will rely on your maturity and experience to perform the following duties:

• • Process vendor invoices and generate checks
• • Perform a monthly reconciliation of the Accounts Payable Subsidiary Ledger to the General Ledger Accounts Payable account balance
• • Perform the data entry of box office receipts, facility sales, merchandise, contributions, license fees, sponsorship and all other receipts
• • Perform periodic general ledger account analysis
• • Provide quarterly schedules for accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrual expenses, prepaid expenses, retainage payable, due to/from accounts, ticket sales revenue, and facility sales
• • Perform monthly credit card reconciliation
• • Prepare weekly cash drop for armored truck pickup
• • Ensure the accuracy of the sales taxes reported to Accounting weekly
• • Prepare New York State quarterly sales tax returns; prepare and submit annual Forms 1099 and 1098; provide back up for payroll processing
• • Provide back up for new hire orientations
• • Conduct training for new managers concerning accounts payable and receivable functions
• • sDevelop and maintain department operations manual

• • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  
• • 3-5+ years of experience in accounts payables and receivables
  
• • 3+ years experience with processing payroll
  
• • Excellent communication, intrapersonal and negotiation skills
  
• • Ability to adapt to an ever changing environment
  
• • High proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  
• • EXTREMELY ORGANIZED AND EFFICIENT
  
• • Team player who can roll up their sleeves and get involved in everything from big projects to mundane, simple tasks - A true go-getter!
  
• • Not easily frazzled and strong time management skills during busy and slower periods throughout the day
